Well this is probably one of the most difficult posts for me to put together. :)
After all, it has been seven years of praying, waiting, experiencing, and some more waiting.
The short version:
Finally! The next step is shown!
While at Casa Grande convention, a feeling came to us that "something" was about to happen in our lives. This feeling came so clear to Jen and I both simultaneously and individually that we knew it was of the Spirit.
With certainty it was not from the platform, because later when recounting with Jen, I said "I don't even remember what the sister was speaking about" to which she responded "well that is because it wasn't a sister speaking"!
The feeling led us to offer again that if there was a need in this world where we could be used, He would show us.
The answers came very quickly. "Africa" and more specifically "Ethiopia"'
Was it on our list if we had had one? Nope. But we had said to God that wherever.
From this point on, the door seems to have swung open on many points which has been quite encouraging.
In very short order we had received our business visas, an offer from the Consular General's office to have work-related meetings set up upon our arrival, and introductions to various other contacts.
The pace has been quite fast, and we move about in awe.
